Become a citizen of science and complete a Globe at Night recording.
Over the next 3 nights as part of our Dark Sky week challenge we invite you to step out and look up to find the Southern Cross constellation, also known as Crux. It is easily identifiable as a kite-shape, made up of four bright stars forming an imaginary cross.
You can then complete a Globe at night recording detailing the sky visibility at the time of viewing. No special kit required you just need your eyes and a device to log data here.
We would love all our friends of Dark sky, you our followers to support in not only doing but sharing this challenge with your friends and family.
Happy stargazing!
